This rich, no-bake, classic Italian dessert (with an Irish twist!) comes together in a jiffy. Your guests will be begging you for the recipe – and for seconds.
Yield- 6 portions
3 Tbsp. CAROLANS Irish Cream Liquor
½ cup Espresso Coffee
2 Tbsp. Sugar
– In a shallow bowl, mix these ingredients together to be used to soak the lady fingers.
14 oz. good quality Italian Lady Fingers
2 cups Mascarpone Cheese
4-5 Tbsp. CAROLANS Irish Cream Liquor
¼ cup Sugar
– Using an electric mixer, whip together and set aside for assembly.
1 cup Whipped Cream
2 Tbsp Sugar
– Using an electric mixer whip cream until stiff peaks.
Cocoa powder for dusting
In a 8” Square baking dish, layer soaked lady finger at the bottom of the pan, spread half of the mascarpone mixture, repeat with a layer soaked lady finger and spread the other half of mascarpone mixture, place another later of soaked ladyfinger and top with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours and serve chilled.
